These terms govern your use of CodeHub (“the service”), operated by CodeHub (“we”, “us”). By using the service you agree to these terms. If you use the service on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you are authorised to bind it.
CodeHub indexes software repositories into queryable code graphs and serves them via the web and the Model Context Protocol. The service is currently offered as a beta/prototype: features may change, be interrupted, or be withdrawn at any time without notice.
You must provide accurate account information and keep your credentials secure. Workspace MCP URLs are bearer secrets: anyone holding the URL can query that workspace. You are responsible for safeguarding and rotating them and for all activity under your account.
You retain all rights to repositories and code you connect to the service. You grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to clone, store, analyse, index, and display that content solely to provide the service to you (including computing graphs, search indexes, and embeddings for your workspace). You represent that you have the necessary rights to connect each repository you index, including authority from your organisation where applicable. We may remove content that we reasonably believe infringes third-party rights or these terms.
Graphs in the public hub are computed from publicly available open-source repositories. The underlying code remains subject to its original licence, which you are responsible for observing. Graph facts are computed mechanically and provided without any warranty of accuracy or completeness. Repository owners may request removal (support@codehub.bot).
You must not:
Programmatic access (including MCP) is provided subject to fair-use rate limits, which we may adjust. We may suspend endpoints that degrade service for other users.
The service, including the CodeHub platform, indexing engine, and site design, is our intellectual property or that of our licensors. If you send us feedback, you grant us a perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free licence to use it without restriction.
Your use of GitHub, GitLab, and authentication providers is governed by their own terms. We are not responsible for third-party services.
You may stop using the service and delete your workspaces at any time. We may suspend or terminate access immediately if you breach these terms, create risk or legal exposure for us, or where required by law. On termination your right to use the service ceases; we will delete private workspace content within a reasonable period.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, ACCURACY, AND UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE OPERATION. CODE-GRAPH OUTPUT IS COMPUTED MECHANICALLY AND MAY BE INCOMPLETE OR WRONG; YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR VERIFYING IT BEFORE RELYING ON IT.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW: (a) WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR GOODWILL; (b) OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SERVICE IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM AND £100. NOTHING IN THESE TERMS EXCLUDES OR LIMITS LIABILITY THAT CANNOT BE EXCLUDED OR LIMITED BY LAW, INCLUDING LIABILITY FOR DEATH OR PERSONAL INJURY CAUSED BY NEGLIGENCE, OR FOR FRAUD.
You will indemnify and hold us harmless from claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your content, your breach of these terms, or your misuse of the service.
We may update these terms; material changes will be posted here with an updated effective date. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, except that we may seek injunctive relief in any jurisdiction. If you are a consumer, this does not affect mandatory protections of the country you live in.
